    Haas file transfering dnc

    Is there any other programs other than DNC that i can use to transfer files from mastercam to the controler using a com1 port?

    LT1TRUCK:

    Most communication programs allow selection of at least COM1 and COM2.

    Mastercam prior to X included Cimco Edit. If you find its location you can run it independent of Mastercam, otherwise run it from within Mastercam.

    I am not familar with a program with the name DNC. What is wrong with this program that you want to use a different program?

    Just remember you need a serial port to dnc. If you only have usb ports buy a usb to serial converter, or get a serial card for your pc.
    On all equipment there are 2 levers...
