Hi all,

I have an issue with this machine I’m unable to get it powered up and referenced.

When I power the machine on it gets stuck with power interruption message and all leds light up, see picture.

You would normally press ce button and then the screen would ask for referencing this isn’t happen and the machine isn’t accepting the ce button.

I’ve checked all power supply’s fuses and transformers and all are checking out ok so far.

Any ideas?

So the above issue had cleared itself today, ce button responded to input and I was able to get to the reference screen. Z and X axis moved and referenced ok. But the Y axis juddered and overran the reference dog and made the extreme limit dog, which then give an error ‘gross position error’

Am I now looking at a Y axis encoder issue maybe needs cleaning, cables checking?

I would 1st check the Y axis ways to be sure it is getting oil then I would suspect the Y motor.

...are these AC or DC Axis drives? DC ---check Tach brushes are clean free of oil etc
