    TLO setting EZ-Trak

    Morning
This might and hopefully will be a simple question and answers.
I'm trying to set the tool length offsets for various tools on my Bridgeport mill, using qc30 tooling.
I'm inputting the length from the tool tip to the holder shoulder into the offset table, along with the diameter.
When running a program, I zero the first tool to the top of the job and run that part no problem. Then after a tool change, the z height just changes to the figure in the offset table, irrelevant of where the quill position is. I thought it would calculate the difference between the first tool offset and the new tool offset, and change the z height by the difference?
Am I missing something, very new to this.
    Thanks

...there should be a way to Set the TLO's in the JOG Mode using a Gage Block of your choice. It was F8 on DX32 controller.for prompts.

    Happy hunting,
    DJ

I have been setting the tools in the jog screen, just when they are called up in auto mode, the z height just sets to the number in the tlo table.
