    G code / mach 3 question

Could someone please explain what needs to be connected, configured, or setup for the M8 code to enable my coolant system. I am using a PDMX-122 breakoutboard with Mach 3. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I think you might need a macro? not sure. You will surely get further by asking in the mach forum, as it is an issue with software, not the machine.

You should just need to set up an output pin to turn on the coolant. I don't have Mach3 installed here, so can't check until later. Also, you need to assign the output pin to the M8 command, I think. Should all be in the ports and pins page.

Check also the spindle set-up page in the config screen. There are two places you need to screw with to get this to go - one is the pins and ports (output) and the other is in the spindle set up screen, believe it or not.
