I have a YCM-40 that my hard drive crashed with zero back up. I have a new hard drive and possibly some software that a local company found on some floppys I was able to get. What operating system would this machine run.. DOS? I'm just trying to get this machine back up and running and I'm a Newbie to this kind of stuff. I know we are totally down without this machine. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I have a Centroid M400 and I got on Centroid's forum and got the info I needed.they have techs that are on the forum to help people. Mine is linuxCNC but mine was from 2008, not sure how old your m400 is. Good luck.
