Hello all. Newbie here - hoping for advice with my vacuum form build. Many thanks in advance.

Buck size measures 16" (41cm) x 13" (33cm), by 6" (15cm) tall - mostly rounded shape. I'm thinking of using an old (kitchen wall type) electric oven, outdoors, as the heat source. I can adjust heat from above and below. The wire oven rack measures 19" x 17". Would the (modified) rack be large enough, considering the stretching of the material and its frame to account for? Would there be any other issues in using an oven?

Operating altitude is 3500 feet. Any issues?

I have an 11US-gallon and a 9US gallon vacuum tank. I expect the 11 to do the job.

What size vacuum pump should I get? Is CFM relevant? I'm not sure if lower CFM only means a slower tank fill, or, if it may have other effects. I am thinking of about a 4-CFM pump.

Thanks for any suggestions.
