WTS 1988 Takisawa TC-1 CNC Lathe Turning Center

    $10,000 OBO

    Dallas, TX area

1988 Takisawa TC-1 CNC lathe for sale. Runs good, but I need the space. Made in Japan.

Very low hours, was a backup machine when I bought it, has 2019 hours total on the machine (see screenshot)

Note: CRT screen works perfect, but it's hard to take pictures/videos of a CRT screen with a cell phone

    Fanuc 0T controller
Fanuc Servo drive on both X and Z axes
    Hydraulic draw tube
3J Collet chuck with a HUGE set of 3J collets
3-jaw Kitagawa chuck with hard and soft jaws (upgraded M-codes to open/close chuck)
    8 position tool turret
    Comes with lots of tooling
Comes with a Dell computer + serial cable to upload g-code to machine
Comes with a 20HP rotary phase converter to use with a regular 60A 220V circuit (American Rotary AD20, $2,000)
Flood coolant system works great, very high pressure
New button panel, needs to be installed

Machine walk around and manual tool changes: https://youtu.be/X663dqB9rW0
Sample program with some threading: https://youtu.be/3B_q-faYilk

Must hire a rigging company to move this machine! It weighs about 6k lbs and is not a DIY job to move it. It will be the best money you've ever spent.
