We have recently purchased two StyleCNC lathes and so far they are great although very little information or support.
We are able to turn and mill just fine but we cannot find any information on how to either load a 3d carve onto a flat surface or how to load a 3d full carve such as an stl. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The machine we have is an awesome machine. The other not shown is just a similar machine with the ability to cut two.
If anything it’s lack of our knowledge on how to run this more of an industrial style machine. We are able to turn and mill just fine but are new to 3d carving as far as creating a 3d object for instance a totem pole or custom newel post. The machine is from China and the instructional video was very difficult to understand but we got through it. We are only trying to see if anyone had any experience with the styleCNC lathe machines and 3d. We have reached out to the company but have only been told what you have suggested. Use a cad/cam program. And we have sone that. I can do that just fine. I what I’m having trouble with is using the machines control/processor system to carve the files.
