    Eastern Air Device stepper

I just bought 2 LA34CKK-P500E stepper motors off Ebay. The specs for the LA34CKK series make them very appealing for a CNC router project I'd like to start. These are rated at 5.0 / 10.0 amps and have a holding torque of 496 oz in UNI and 620 in BI. The question I have is this, did I make a mistake on buying them? In afterthought, I think that I would have to get a driver that can supply the 5 - 10 amps to make these things work well enough for a router. Am I correct in this thought?

Seem like good motors. Just get some Geckos and they will run fine.
