What brand and type of glue is used in guitar construction? I am sure I will have many more questions later on if you have time to answer them thanks, bob
Alipahatic resin is the most common to use - titebond original. Stay away from pva as they generaly suffer from creep in stressed areas. I've used titebond for 15yrs now, never let me down.
If you are interested in electric guitar construction, I suggest that you get the Melvin Hiscock book and visit the Project Guitar.com forum. There are WAY easier ways of building an electric guitar than trying to cnc one. Either way, those are great resources for the info you are looking for.
What is easier than having a machine VERY PRECISELY cut out a guitar for you?
:-)
How about a CNC machine with incredible accuracy, routing fret slots?
Yes, there are ways to build a guitar by hand, but man, does a CNC machine do a much better job! :-)
So you will have to learn how to create g-code and model guitars, but that is the fun part!
