Question Question about Mach3 and G-code - My First Post

I'm new here. I'm 95% percent done with my first ever cnc router http://www.neo7.com/cnc/front.jpg Here is a movie (22mb) of it running a 6 hole pattern http://www.neo7.com/cnc/6holepattern.avi More pict and vids to come

I'm starting to work with the G-code a little and wanted to know if Mach3 has a bias to a particular manufacturer as far as how it wants to be spoken to? Does it want Haas, Fanuc, Fadal etc?

    Thanks
    Dave

I think it would prefer Mach3 g-code. A lot of the codes are the same, but all controls have small differences. Some of the others will probably work most of the time, but you may come across some things that Mach3 does differently. Best to check the manual for the specific codes you'll be using.
