If you are using a home NPN or PNP sensor, you will need to connect it to +24V/0V through a ~2-3k resistor. This is described in the manual and works very well for me.

When receiving an M6T command, the system first changes the tool number and only then calls O9101.txt to change it. My current number is used to switch axis motors. I had to switch axes through the postprocessor.
