Re: What's a reasonable sale price for my 1100 Series 2?
My big concern that may finally tip me over to LinuxCNC for builds is whether or not Mach 3 (I'm not really interested in Mach 4) runs well enough under W10. The sweet spot I found was with dual core W764Pro with 8GB memory or more. On board graphics ran just fine as long as I kept the allocation low. If I get over a million lines of code I still turn off the tool path display. I added a button to do that to the home screen. Biggest program I have run was 2.3 million lines of code, but I get up around that million line mark regularly.
I can still buy refurbished computers in that sweet spot, but its getting harder and harder to find them with W764Pro.
I have setup 8 machines (probably 15 computers not counting demo only installations on design computers) I think that ran Mach 3 and currently have 4 licenses running on 4 machines.
Taig, MaxNC, Charter Broke, Chinese Noodle (limp like noodle) Router, Hurco, Syil Speedmaster (times 3).
I also have a few more machines in various stages of building.
