    Need help with CNC Router parts Rack and pinion size

    I am trying to find a short rack that is compatible with the CNC router parts rack. I need to extend my X axis for my ATC. I have their longest rack and need a few more inches of length. Grainger sells ~1 foot pieces but the size is in modulus and CNCRP has theirs in pitch and degrees.

    does anyone know the modulus of the CNCRP rack, or where I can get a short piece that is compatible? with shipping it would be around $75 for a full length piece of rack from CNCRP, and I'd like to save some $$$$

    pitch = Pi x Module
    I'm not sure if the degrees is part of diametrical pitch or not. There are conversions you can do to match.

    I think it's 20° PA, 20 pitch.
    Mod rack is metric, which is different.

    Email cncrouterparts they will give you the info you need. They may even have a piece the size you need.

    It states on their website that it's 20° PA, 20 pitch.
