Question Carving A Portrait In Wood Using A Photo

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A PORTRAIT IN WOOD(LIKE AN ETCHING) FROM A PHOTOGRAPH.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A PROGRAM TO MAKE G-CODE FOR THIS FROM A BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO?

There's a few free/beta/demo programs that will do this.. Meshcam, BMP2CNC, ACME Profiler (comes with VB6 source!).

I have Visual Studio 6 installed. Would I also have ACME Profiler and where?
    Thanks

No, it's a program someone made using Visual Studio. Do a search either here or on google, meantime I'll try to find the link.

You get the source for the $20, right? Probably worth the $20 just for the code.

Actually, you get the source when you download the demo from his web site. (I haven't pointed that out to the guy yet, maybe he doesn't realize that..)
