    Suitable Stepper Motor

    Would this stepper motor be suitable for a router??

    Those are stepping linear actuators. They have a stepper motor but they have a short travel.

    Which one would be suitable on that website, i am trying to keep the cost extremely low!!

    I have found this one else where.

    Quality product from MINEBEA this NEMA 23 frame motor features:

    Rated current 1.2A Holding torque 0.314Nm (3.2kg-cm)
    Rotor inertia 0.55kg-cm2 Detent torque 0.0492Nm (500g-cm).
    Output shaft 6.3mm dia x 19mm long 4-connections flying lead 115 mm long

    Body 56.5mm dia x 40mm long with 57mm square mounting face having a 5.2mm dia mounting hole in each corner on an approx 47mm square.

    Go find some old junk hp laserjets and pull the steppers from them.

    Do all printers have stepper motors because i have two old ones sat on the side doing nothing. For new ones, would these be any good.
