I contacted gravograph, and they said that as long as it has an pc interface (witch it has), it would run with their gravostyle software.
The gravostyle software is way to expensive for me, espessialy if you go for the 3d version witch costs 6268 USD!
I have Vectric aspire - Vcarve - and Mach 3 for my other cnc, and would really like to use the same software for this one.
So, is it possible to run this machine via Mach 3? maybe bypassing some gravostyle-lock built in to the vx2?

Got it working with mach 3. Figured it out by myself. Problem solved.

Hi David, I am based in Australia so am not going to be competing with you. I have recently been made redundant from my job. I have an old VXL 1988 engraving machine in my shed out the back that I was hoping I might be able to make some money with. I am in a similar position to you in that I am not able to spend much, I was wondering if you would be willing to share how you have achieved getting your table working with what I presume is a modern PC?
When you talk PC interface what do you mean by that?
What did you then do to get your PC running your table?
If you are willing to share you can send to my email address [email protected] so as not to make this information available to any of your competitors by publicly posting.
I hope that you can help me I would be eternally grateful
Kind Regards
