    Microstepping?

I trying to get my router fired back up after years of sitting collecting dust. I've got it moving right but my movement is off quite a bit. I'm using standard stepper motors with 200 steps connected directly to a 1/2-14 all thread and gecko 201's. When I jog the machine an inch it actually moves about 1/8". The only thing I can think of is the micro stepping which is throwing this off? I'm using turbo cnc and the calculate function to get my value and I know everything but the micro stepping? What is that value for a 201?

    Hye,

If I remember well the G201 is 1/10 microstepping, so you have to set up in turbo cn that you used 1/10 microstep -I dont know how! i don't useturbo cn).

    I hope it could help.

    bye
