    1997 Shoptask 1720 Gold

    I found a SHOPTASK 1720 GOLD for 400$ seems to be in fair shape, it is ten years old but seems to be a good deal for the price...any comments?

    If the ways havn't buggered for $400 probably won't go wrong.
    Ive got a 1999 that I bought new and upgraded to cnc w/ball screws and high lift and use it several times a week. I too have a shoptask bridgemill that i use for manual machining.

    Shoptask supports the machine and for the money ($400) it is worth it just to have a spare/ second machine that can be used to mill-drill and turn. It should have come with the cnc pulleys necessary to convert it to cnc for the x and y axis.

    for the money probably a good deal.

    if you decide not to buy it please let me know and I might go for it if the distance isn't too great.
