    Tool change table location V30

When performing tool changes and machining larger parts that may have a collision on tool change.

Is there a way in either the post processor or in the software to tell the machine where to park the table at every tool change? Other than editing the post manually.

Yes you can create an advanced posting tab with a check box and input for the X Y Z location for the tool change. This would be done with a scripted post. It's not an in the box feature but it's something that can be added to your post with out that much work.....

I've attached a sample scripted post for you to review. This post was created for V24 and will show you some the files and format needed to create a scripted post with and adv posting tab. I also recommend you search the help files on this topic because the help system will have more information for you.
