    There is some info here...

It doesn't really say what the solution was but perhaps this can point you in the right direction ?

EDIT: On second thought, those errors look different than what you have. I guess my post won't help at all...

Are you installing V9? Sounds like it. But I shouldn't have to guess.

Maybe Mastercam is having a problem loading if you have v9 already installed on the computer.

I had 9 and X on the same box for a long time. There were no issues...

There is still one computer here with V9 and X and X2.

The only issue with multiple versions that I recall was that if you installed V9 AFTER X your X install could develop some issues...

Did you install 1.1 Dot Net services first?

Are you installing this from a disk or a download?

What version of MC-X are you installing?

What version of windows are you running?

do you have Admin rights on this box?

Just a few things to help me figure it out.

PS running multy versions is all fine.
I have on this box. V8,V9, MC-XMR1,MC-XMR2,X2 and to boot MCX2_MR1 and just remove V6 along with V7 a week ago.

Go to the control panel, run the MCAM applet, and unregister those files. When done, re-register those components and that should fix it...

I just had this problem also. I had V9 installed first and put X3 on recently. When I went to use V9 one day it could not load mcbitmap.ocx. I ended up running the repair installation from the set up file for V9 and it worked for me. Good thing because I don't know how to get anything done with X3 yet.

I love X2,3,4 The older versions are junk, X versions are way better.
I went to a community college to learn it, I'm glad I did.

    Mastercam install problem

mastercam version 9 if i remember right is assuming you have microsoft office installed. the missing files get installed with microsoft office. Mastercam 9 if I remember needs Microsoft Ofiice Powerpoint or Powerpoint viewer for the help files or the training files.

if i remember right one "fix" was to copy the missing files from a computer with microsoft office to the other computers mastercam folder.

or look for missing files on the internet. If you have mastercam X it maybe something similar like needing MS Office, Internet Explorer, MS Net version I am not sure about and XP service pack

V9 is not supported by Vista and there are no hasp drivers for vistA IN v9.
