It may be worth designing your own with donor parts to save build time.
To my mind, the ultimate is a universal style mill head with a quill that can be used on 'feed hold'.
With this you could do crankshaft drilling, cylinder head seats and after feed hold return to running the program, sort of a mix of manual and cnc.
The design goal should be not the machine itself, but what can be done with the machine other than cutting little square blocks with holes.
