    Motor mounts??

I'm just about to start mounting my Xylotex 269 oz. motors to my MDF and plywood machine base and I'm wondering if it is better mount the motors directly or stay them off as I have seen others do here with tubing and the like? The motors DO have a bit of a phlange to overcome but that material could be removed from the frame base.
    Thanks in advance.

Mounting them to a flat surface is best. The motor flange fits in a 1-1/2" hole
