Fusion 360 Slow, Hangs, Freezes doing 40x20 pattern

Is a 40x20 pattern of a simple square really too much? I'm trying to model a vacuum table and my 40x20 pattern is absolutely destroying fusion 360. It runs great otherwise, but I turned down all the graphics settings regardless. Not surprisingly, didn't help. This is a sketch pattern. Using spacing, not extent.

Patterning a 3D feature 40x20 times doesn't give me this issue.

When you do patterns you pattern feature not sketch, Yes sketch patterns blow, pattern feature is fine

Fusion certainly has a long way to go yet in terms of sketching performance. But even still, sketch patterns should only be used when absolutely necessary. Feature/component patterns are nearly always faster and easier to work with.
