Is there a special parameter I need to change to be able to see the
System Variables. (#1000 and up)
I see Locals and common up to #531 and that's it.

As far as I know you have to assign the system variable to a local variable and check it there, or use a DPRNT to output the system variable to whatever's hooked up to the serial port.
That's a tough one.
I'm new in macros, I did not quite understand what you're telling me
Can you please rephrase.

George
Check to see if you have parameter 9937 bit #4 set xxx1xxxx.
This can be for variables 149-199 & 531-999

Sure I will do that, something like this??
00010000
I hope I can find out for the System variables #1000 and up, they really can make a lot of stuff.
Thank you all.

I am not sure which ones you mean by #1000 up, as far as I can tell the 18 & 18i show 100 to 199 and 531 to 999 for variables by option.

In MDI, key in #101=#4007, EOB, INSERT, and Cycle Start. You can then look at 101 in the MACRO variables and see the value of system variable 4003. #4003 is the active G code of the 07 group (G40, G41, G42), so you should see a "40" stored in #101.
AFAIK if you have macro option then you should have access to the system variables, read only.
Active G codes, as mentioned, and servo positions etc etc.

Ok guys this is getting rough.
I think I'm going to start from the bottom.
I'm a beginner in this...I'll start with small programs before I get to macro
functions and stuff like that.
Thank you all for your help.
Cheers
