I have used lasers in the past. I was wondering what if someone sells a machine that has a CNC router and a laser in one? This would be for projects where I would be milling 1/4" aluminum into any specific shape and then laser engraving it afterwards. Do you guys know of anything like this?

We thought about doing this next year might be an pcb millng 3D printing if Alu is possible we don't know maybe but get any router out there like Heiz 400 which has an kress able head ( I think 42mm diameter ) and do yourself an laser mount should be easiest setup

I think this is working only if we use fiber optics to ride the beam.

Pin down a spindle/laser in one that's not a toy but capable of production output and my shop could utilize it. Space in our shop is valuable as well.

CNC router and a laser in one?
i think it is impossible . because the cnc router working with Noise and vibration，the cnc router make a lot of dust .the laser machine does not like all of them .so do not think it is a good idea .
