440 not moving correctly after controller swap

Hey guys! I have one of the early 440s that had a firmware issue with the MX3660 controller. Tormach sent out a new one to swap out and I'm having some issue with the new one. Long story short, I was setup up a new piece to machine and things seemed strange. The G30 went to the wrong place, and everything just kinda seemed a little off. As it turns out, the axes aren't moving the correctly amount. I was zeroing my workpiece and it said the tip was 1" above the workpiece, but it clearly wasn't. So I used a 123 block and confirmed. When the machine says it moved 1", it's actually closer to 1.25". So, all the movements (x, y, and z) are about 25% off. Did anyone else have this issue? The first thing I thought of was microstepping, but that would be a factor of 2 right?

    Fixed!

As it turns out, they set all the DIP switches on the controller upside down, so not only was it running at some strange microstepping profile, but it was also about 1/4 the power. good thing I didn't try to cut anything!

Those drivers have micro-step settings for 1/8 and 1/10. If yours are set for 1/8, but should be 1/10, your moves will be 25% too long. 1/8 has switches 4/5/6 seet to Off/Off/On, while 1/10 has them set to On/On/Off.

Yep, that's what it turned out to be. I didn't realize some drivers had 1/8 and 1/10 settings. Glad it's fixed now though.
