    Thinking of selling my SL15

I've been upgrading and expanding my shop over the last few years. I don't want to sell my PCNC1100 but I added a new Hurco VM10i and a larger chucker lathe. I don't have much use for my Tormach Slantbed anymore. I am kicking around to see what it may be worth or if there is any interest. It's very low mileage and turned mostly Grade 2 titanium. I have the kennedy auto air closer on it. It's not got the full enclosure, just the original chuck cover guard. I used it in the gang configuration so no toolpost or turret. Value? No tooling included except the closer.

I'm in Indianapolis, I'll get pictures later. People are asking, but again tooling only includes:

    Air closer
    Gang Adapter Plate
Custom coolant manifold w/straws for gang setup
    I'll include a monitor too (17" LED)

Do you have it in a location that it can be rigged and put on a pallet for shipping? Basically are you in a shop with truck freight access or in a garage?

Yes it can be rigged. It's in a commercial machineshop with no dock. You will either need a liftgate or a forktruck.

PM me what you're thinking on price. I need to see what it's going to cost me to fly up and check the machine and rig for shipping back to Georgia. I may drive up and load in the back of my truck and bring it back. Anyone near you have a forklift we could borrow to load it on my truck?

I just purchased a SL15 lathe 1 year old, full enclosure, 3 tool gang tooling, QCTP Phase II 250 sized tool post and 10 holders. Several high end Iscar tools and similar along with several inserts. (Probably 2k in tooling)

I paid $10.5k and the machine was in incredible shape.

I'm interested in your lathe. I'm located in Indiana south of Indy. I sent you a message with a price request.
