Using PIC 16F877A to program pneumatics

am i able to control pneumatics using PIC programming?
Any website to allow me to understand PIC programming in pneumatics
    Thanks

Both the logic and the physical control of pneumatic devices are possible, the I/O has to be conditioned of course, by means of devices such as SSR's etc.
A knowledge of Boolean and flow chart description helps.
What are you trying to achieve?

i am trying to build a machine for manufacturing.
I used to do a bit on automation using pneumatic, control using the physical hardware.
But now i need the pneumatics to be control using software, microchip PIC.
Example controlling the strokes of the pneumatic actuators.

    thank you

Have you looked at using a PLC or a SMART Relay? Or are you going PIC because of economics?
Adding in the time and the necessary real-world interfacing, these options may work out comparable.
