    How are subroutines accomplished in PP?

    Keen,

    I experienced a rather odd problem. My PP won't accept a program name in the Oxxxx format, e.g., O1234. I believe i'm running ver. 1.9.3 but as I'm recovering from surgery, I won't be able to get to the shop to check it for about another week.

    Hi John - As mentioned in my video I a far from an expert on this subject. Is it possible you entered the number 0 instead of the letter O ?

    No, no zero in place of the alpha character "O". I've been doing this for a long time.

    If you are getting "invalid g-code" type errors loading the file (the file doesn't even load), check for unusual characters in your comments as well. I hit that in 1.9.3 although it was there before then.

    should be well enough on Monday to go to my shop and double check everything.

    I reloaded PP and all is good now.
