    Spindle ON/OFF kbmm-125 and MTBB6X bob

    Hey guys, so while I know this break out board cannot control spindle rpm through mach3 since it doesnt have 0-10v capabilities, I'm wondering if you know if it could simply turn the spindle on and off leaving me to manually control spindle speed. Most of my work is in aluminum anyways so I usually keep it pinned.

    The specs for this bob are lean;

    6 axis Breakout board
    Built in C-class Optical-coupler
    High quality with Surface-mount Tech
    CNC Compatible software MACH3,DeskCNC, Rutex,Linux EMC, TurboCNC
    Built in DB25 male connector
    Output Pin P1,P2,P3,P4,P5,P6,P7,P8,P9,P14,P16,P17
    Input Pin P10,P11,P12,P13,P15
    GND Pin P18-P25
    Power supply +5V DC

    Package Includes
    1 x Breakout Board adapter
    1 x DB25 Cable 6', 2 meters

    Would I be able to designate a pin to the inhibit terminals on my kbmm board for on and off control?

    Sorry I'm sure it gets asked all the time, been trying to search but most of my results are about the c11 board and full spindle control. Thanks in advance.

    According to KB, you should to be switching mains power on & off to the KB to turn the motor on & off (for safety reasons.) You'd definitely need relays for that.
