ljoe, that's great.
The electrical drawings never seem to show the obvious for us electronics novices.
Add in the proper colors on the motors and + and - on the power supply leads and you have it explained very clearly.
Secondary question. Is your fan very noisy? The one I got is louder than anything in the entire system. I am thinking about swapping it out with a PC fan.
I don't have my routers running yet. They may drown out the fan noise and I won't have to worry about it.
Thanks
T
my fan is quiet.
i bought it when i bought the driver board and steppers. i shoulda gotten the 5v power supply from jeff as well, but too late now as he has sold out.
for archival purposes (as in, someday someone may search this site for threads on circuit diagrams) this circuit diagram should also be mentioned:
http://www.timgoldstein.com/cnc/GeckoG320Wiring.pdf
and this is a really good description of power supply design:
http://www.campbelldesigns.com/power...20part%201.pdf
compbell designs also has nice hookup diagrams like the one supplied by ljoe.
