We have been running our new to us arrow 500 for several weeks but it seems like the tool changer slams compared to other machines I am used to. We have the air pressure at about 100 psi.

You can just adjust the flow screw on the fittings that go into the cylinder . I think you want to restrict the return side slightly - go a little at a time . - If you do the pressure side it might make it hang on the spindle .. This is what worked for me . Hope it helps
Or check that the spring loaded stopped is working( the thing with the lock nut on the back ) , mine was jammed in .. Some crc and a wash , fixed that .. So probably do this before adjusting flow screws . Sorry .
OK thanks!
Most arrow machines used an electric motor to advance and retract the tool changer disk. Does your machine use the older style air cylinder to do this??

supraman - that was it! Cylinder jam nut was loose. We had to make a wrench to fit it but everything is beautiful now! Thanks!
Mike - it is definitely air. Thanks!
