So I crashed the tool setter probe on the Lynx 220. It damaged the top button on the probe part. I have checked into getting a new one and they are $800 plus just for the part. Does anyone know if anybody rebuilds these or sells rebuilt ones? I guess I have a hard time believing everyone is just throwing them away when this happens. Attached is a photo of it. The X- is the sensor that is broke. Thanks

Ebay is a gold mine for such items. I sold a new tool-setter in the box for 100$.

If you don't use X+ just flip it over and switch the wires. I don't know of a source for pieces parts for them.

I don't know if I've looked up your exact part (as I don't have your full serial number) but the newest Lynx 220 (starting serial series is ML0013) uses part number 301308-00287.
It is in stock and lists for less than $700.00

While it is possible that you might use a different version, I can look up that specific item if needed...

If you'd like me to check, please supply the whole serial number.

That is the one I have..........301308-00287. The problem I have is that Doosan distributor wants over $800 USD for it. Do you want serial number off of the lathe?
