    Extracting edges from solid issue

Anyone know what I have done as suddenly I can not extract edges from a solid correctly for V27 Lathe.
    See attached pics.
    First is the solid
Second pic is what I got previously when opening that solid (I have deleted the lower section).
Third and fourth pics are what I get now.

I will try it out when I get home tonight on the other computer to see if it is ok there.

This is working properly, You will not get the 2D as indicated in pic2. The 2D in pic2 was likely used to revolve and create the 3D and somehow you accidentally deleted the 2D? Just my guess?

Thanks for the reply but I have been using this method since V25 and it has always worked.
This method is actually shown in one of the BobCAD tutorial videos.
Remember this is using the lathe module and not the milling although it does seem to be as you would get in the milling module, so maybe that holds a clue.

Below is what I would expect to see when I extract the edges from the solid in the original post and is what I used to get.

I have never extracted edges and had the horizontal lines be there, always needed to connect lines from/to the circles and project to a plane, like Z0. Extracting edges from a cylinder will only produce the circles. Perhaps there is a feature I'm not aware of? Or something I don't have turned on? Your pic3 and pic4 are exactly what I would expect.

Its ok I am officially a grade A idiot.

I have not been using Lathe for a while and have forgotten what I used to do. It was not extract edges, it is intersection curves :

Ok away to give myself some dope slaps.

Ah yes, if you drew a plane at Z0 and then did an intersection curves you would produce pic2.
