On 4/28/2015 I received an e-mail from Nolan at Thunder Laser.
He told me the shipping charges would be $150.00 cheaper than what he quoted me. On 4/29/2015 I received the funds in my paypal account.

    How honest is that.

It's been a great experience working with Nolan and Thunder Laser to date. All of the shipping documents have been finalized and the equipment is now shipping.
The estimated arrival date is 5/13/2015 at the Port Of Houston.

I will continue to update this review as it progresses

Thanks for the update, it gives you a good feeling when a company displays this type of honesty. I received an email from Nolan saying my mini60 will be shipped after the shippers come back from their holiday. Your info gives me a good feeling.
    Thanks Mike (biomes)

    Hi Gozzie,
Looks like you may get your laser before I get mine , mine is sitting in Cincinnati ,Ohio waiting for clearance approval form the FDA. I should have use an importing agent like you I guess. Nothing to do but wait, I Hope I haven't thrown my money away.

    Hi Mike,
I believe that when mine arrives at the Port of Houston there will be customs and FDA hold on it. Nolan already sent me the FDA paperwork and other forms that I will need.
I forwarded all that to my broker. I think you are doing great without the broker and the FDA is just another part of the process.
It's kinda like Christmas Eve and waiting on Santa Claus. We are so close.

    Hi Gozzie,
All I can say is WOW ! That didn't take long to get to the port. You are correct it is like waiting for Santa. Maybe we get them about the same time.

Very interested to hear how this goes, sounds good so far. What do you end up paying for the laser with shipping to get it all here?

My customs broker told me Monday that my machine is at the Port of LA awaiting
to be transferred to another boat going to Houston. So it will still be a while. At least I know where it is.
In the meantime I will continue to practice on the software.

I just received an email from my broker. The machine arrived at the Port of Houston and they will be loading it on a truck (with a lift gate) and sending it my way.
The machine got delayed at the Port of LA for a customs examination and xray. It put the time line back a little but keeping the country safe is way more important.
So far it's been a trouble free adventure and everyone involved have been very professional and accommodating .
I state again that using a broker is the way to go. There was a lot of paperwork involved between them and the different governmental departments. They handled all of it
and kept me informed all along the way. This phase will be complete in a couple of days when it's delivered to my door. I will keep updating as it progresses.

6/17/2015 3:21pm a semi with a lift gate pulled up to the front of the house. The driver jumped out smiling and opened the trailer door. What a huge crate.
He rolled a pallet jack under it and wheeled it to the lift gate. He lowered it to the ground and pulled it into the garage. In less than 10 minutes he was gone.

I pulled the crate apart and immediately checked for damage. Nothing at all. The tube was intact and survived the trip. The machine was well packed and crated.
Next I checked the inventory for any missing parts. Everything was there including some extras I wasn't expecting. I'll get into more detail later on.
It will take a couple of days to set it up. I already started taking pictures and I will do a full review once it's up and running.
Right now I am going to do a thorough check for loose parts and wiring connections. I don't expect to find much as they really protected it for shipping and it
appears to have been really well built.

I will update again in couple of days,
