V26 Equidistant offset not climb cutting

I am running this part now and the way it is cutting is going to work out fine but I want to figure this out for the future. I have climb mill selected in the cut direction section but it keeps generating conventional tool paths. What am I missing?

Selecting conventional produces a climb cut. Guess it's backwards.

It more like, direction 1 and direction 2. So depending on the part you may need to swap between climb and conventional to get what you are after.

It's always behaved as expected before. I guess something about this part geometry is throwing it off, though it seems pretty straightforward to me. No big deal to run in the other way, I guess. I just didn't think of trying that before posting.

No, it has been this way forever,,at least V 23.
It's only a big deal if you spend 10 minutes calculating a tool path just to find out it is cutting a conventional cut.
Yes the shape of part plays a factor I noticed.

It would be nice if BobCad could look at the geometry of the shape, and the orientation, to determine cutting direction. I've had parts where I have had to break up the finish operation into multiple features, to keep it climb milling.

Guess I should have said that I have not noticed this before.

A good chance it never did it before when you used it.
Has a mind of its own.
