Hi all,

I am looking for the pin configuration for my Mori Seiki NL2500SY. Control is the MS850 which is Mitsubishi 700BM (machine is 2007). I am running a 9 pin female to 25 pin male using com ports. having trouble sending and receiving programs.

its standard RS232, like any other machine.
easiest way is go onto ebay and buy a null-modem cable (or purpose-built CNC transfer cable) with 9-pin to 25-pin connectors (for about $5-$10)
set the baud rate/parity/data bits/stop bits on machine and PC to the same settings and it will work.
if you still have 'trouble' come back here and offer more info about exactly what trouble you are having.
alternatively, there's no point re-inventing the wheel....

as I said the wiring is common. that same wiring diagram is posted in this forum probably several hundred times and also all over the net.
