    Need a VFD

    Maybe someone can guide me it the right direction I am looking into purchasing a VFD for my would lathe
    7.5 hp I am trying to set it up so it can run on single face.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You would need to find a manuf. that makes a 7hp 1ph unit, often the limit is around 5hp.

    Thanks for the reply
    The motor is already install in the lathe so I don't want to pun a knew one I want to be able to change the speed through a controller plus I figure it woul be less noisier installing a VFD instead of a rotory phase convertor.
    Any advice of where I can get one

    Sure you can get them from Dan Foss, or WW Grainger, also WEG makes them too
