    G-Code ?

Does the Slant Pro control read G-code or only conversational? Or both?
I've seen pictures of the monitor, but I've only seen the "Fill-in the variables" screen-shot.

    Re: G-Code ?

I have been using sprut9 for a few months learning how to setup lathe ops and reviewing the resulting g-code generated.
From what I see if it posts code as well as the simulation works it will be easy to get up to speed making parts.

    Re: G-Code ?

So, I can go to the control and just manually punch-in G-code for a quick easy program?
It will read G-code programs, much like MACH did?

    Re: G-Code ?

As far as I understand it. the conversation part generates g-code and you append those together to create a part or entire set of operations for a part.
or you could write your own and append that. I understand the Linux o.s. based program would have some file differences but other then that I see no difference.
The same program is now offered for the mill and it uses g-code posts from cam or conversation also.
