crc not working on fadal 4020

Cannot use crc on fadal 4020 when I try to use machine in MDI and have a g40 code machine goes back in format 1 ,,enter next command''.
When I have a g41 or 42 I get:,,file overflowfile overflow error in user program, run sum to see the message''
I don't know if I am doing anything wrong or it's a problem with the machine ,I am new to this field and willing to learn the ropes.
The line in format 2 looks like that:g 41 d1 x3 y3 g0 ad when press start I get the above error.I would appreciate is someone can help me.

    Thanks

Re: crc not working on fadal 4020

I have never tried to use CRC in mdi, but I dont think you can, when using cutter radius compensation the computer looks ahead to the next line and in mdi there is no next line so I'm not sure if it'll work but like I said I never tried that before so I dont know for sure.

rev is correct. For crc to work it must look ahead at least 1 cnc block in order to calculate next position. In MDI this is impossible! Fadal is one of the most well behaved machine tools I have used regaurding crc. However its not a mind reader!
