Post for OLD proLight 2000 mill?

I saw on the BobCad site they only have a Light Machines post for the later versions with Fanuc controller. What would be involved in making one for the earlier PLM 2000 and 2500 that used an Animatics controller?

    Manual http://www.intelitekdownloads.com/Ma...DOS_Manual.pdf
    DOS software http://www.intelitekdownloads.com/So...00/PLM2000.zip
Factory and dealer tech info https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Byhq...NhVXBnT00/edit (It's a large ZIP archive inside an ISO image file, dunno why)

The manual has some notes about a few differences in code for models with the Fanuc controller. I haven't dug into the technical info files much to see what all is in that archive.

Doesn't matter for what software, should be able to edit post processing scripts to adapt from one to another.

TheCamMan, There is a broken link in the BobCAD forum for Post Processors that is incorrectly pointing to the Autodesk Post Processor sub-forum. That's why these questions keep popping up here. It's time to annoy the mods to get it fixed.

There are a couple of differences between the 2000 and 2500 models using the Animatics controller VS the Fanuc controller. By default the Animatics one uses incremental arc centers and a $ is used in the NC file to make it switch to absolute. The Fanuc version defaults to absolute and a % is used to make it use incremental arc centers.

There are two other G codes that are different between the two. Would have to read through the PLM 2000 DOS manual to find those again. Other than that they use the same interpretation of the codes.
