Can someone who owns one give me that dimension? I can not find it in any of the literature available.

For the Torus Pro? pg 10-1 of the owner's manual on their site says 11.5" spindle to column. Hope that helps.

The drawing I made might help. It's over here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/novako...136-forum.html
(the download link is in post 6)
The person who started the following thread, engnerdan, has improved the model significantly. He had uploaded them to one of those model-sharing sites, Grabcad maybe, but I'm too lazy to look for the link. I figure it's in this thread somewhere: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/novako...-software.html
I actually measured it yesterday.....there's 11.5" of clearance to the edge of the lower gas strut mount. Get rid of the gas strut and there'd be a few more inches.

So it does work out to 11.5. I am in the midst of picking out a new machine to go into the budget for the new shop and wanted to confirm that dimension. One of the things I need to be able to do is get to the center of a 17 inch wheel to hit the bearing bore with a boring head so spindle to column is going to be important.
Thank you gentlemen.
I just checked with my buddy.....the rims I did in this vid are 17" rims.
