I replaced a tube in my k40 upgrade. the tube busted and arched a spark a few times. Replaced the tube and when i fire the laser now it does not quit firing. either test firing or running a job. did something short out in the control?

Disconnect all control lines coming from the control board. Does it still fire? Hopefully you are being careful and always mindful of where the beam is between mirrors and such. If it still fires on it's own with the controller disconnected then Perhaps you have a defective or disconnected "pull up" or pull down" resistor in the power supply on one of the control lines.
I will have to look but i dont think my new power supply has the button to fire the laser. power supply is about two months old will check when i get home.
