    Weird CoordSys Problem

    Hello,
It seems my CoordSys is doing something funky. In the picture I've attached you can see there is no X or Y direction vector on the CoordSys. Anybody have any idea why this is? This happens every time I create a new Coordsys, with an exception of the first time. It's like SolidCam is limiting me to only one Coordsys. When I post, everything looks great except it defaults to the first CoordSys I created. So on this particular part, which was just as a test, my first CoordSys was top center of that hole. Every time I post, that's what it defaults to as my origin, no matter which position I select in each operation. I'm sure its something simple. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Re: Weird CoordSys Problem

Hello, your setting is wrong, Try to create a new MAC, not just a position. if your machine has lots of setups, the MACs are needed, but if your machine have only one setup, or 4/5, or mill_turn machine, usually it only needs one MAC and lots of positions.

hope it can help you. if you need any other help about solidcam, i am happy to help you, email address is, [email protected]
