I work 8 years in 3 to 5 axis in mastercam. Up to version 4

Im currently starting my own company. I will make Die and Mould. and will make some custom part too

Im currently looking at Mastercam X8 Mill lvl 3 and solid. that thing cost over 17 000$ CAD.

anyone have any experience here on these products. HSMworks, Mastercam and Solidcam.

Imachining seems awesome. do Mastercam X8 offert the same? (optirough I guess?)

So, if you could choose again from start. which one you would choose?

Had you ever used the SolidWorks before? if you had and Found SolidWorks can satisfy what you are now making, solidcam is a very Good Choice, if solidworks cannot satisfy what you are doing, don't think about it!

Although it may affect the bottom line in a start up, you cant lose by going with what you already know.

best way to work it out if you can make a drawing as easy as what you can in mastercam or faster and better its worth a shot you get the 2,5D version of HSM free with soildworks, or the other way is fusion 360 its ok and will only get better you can get fusion as a start up don`t know if you can with solidworks contact them ya never know
