Hi,

I have just got my machine center up and running and am hoping to find out what model renishaw spindle probe works best? i have spent so much time trying to find out but for the life of me i cant find any info any where.... there is nothing in the blue manuals about what model just set up procedures. what model probe do you guys use if you don't mind me asking? also what other hardware will i need to get it working?

Ok with another 10hrs reading and researching done i kinda getting somewhere, looking at wiring diagram it shows J8 port on the A2100 to go to P66 port and the OMI RECEIVER to go to P10, can any on tell me if this wired like this the surface sensor probe will function? or am i still missing extra hardware? still says nothing about which renishaw probe will any model work? in new zealand there is no cnc experts to assist just have to spend endless hours reading a researching your self sadly....., i have had zero experience with cnc machining as i am only a fabricator by trade, hopefully i haven't bitten off more than i can chew in this venture lol.

ok, will have to look for a 2nd unit as i'm guessing renishaw will definitely not have this in stock any more lol,
