    Reloading Fanuc OT parameters

I need to reload all my machines parameters( MIYANO JNC-45) due to a board replacement and I have all the parameters on disk. I just dont have enough parameters loaded so I can reload the rest from disk. Any suggestions or proceedures would be appreciated.

    update

I was able to get my parameters in by computer but had to load diag. by hand. I now come up with a 401,410,and 420 alarms reguarding X & Z servos.
The machine is in a not ready state. Any ideas?

    i had those alarms.
what i had to do was restart the memory
or first have you shut off your controller

If you load the RS232 parameters by hand then you can upload with a PC,
on the setting screen choose a device, if zero the the device settings are in 0002 & baud in 0552 if device 1 the settings are in 0012 & baud in 0553
    0552 & 0553 = 10 (4800 baud)
You will also need the 900 option parameters.

    still have alarms 401,410,420

I cleared everything and started from scratch. I loaded the first 20 parameters then shut control off. then loaded my "900" parameters and shut control off. Then loaded the rest via rs-232, and changed diag. #s 310-319.
I turned off PWE and restarted control and still end up with alarms 401, 410 and 420. Any suggestions? Am I doing proceedure in proper order?

i think you have to tell the memory that there is new stuff in it.
thats what had to do ,but i dont no if it's the same for your controller and how to do it sorry.

The 410 & 420 is excessive position error at stop.
The maintenance manual says check diag 800~807 for all axis.
    see pdf page.
The 401 is probabally because of the other 2.

    Problem solved

Thank Al, you pointed in the right direction. After closer examination, I left out the position error values from parameters 593 & 594 (X & Z).
    You are the "MAN".
    Thanks for your help.
