Hello everyone, I am brand new to this forum. I found a former thread that explained what I am dealing with, but nothing in there fixed my problem. I have a brand new 80w engraver I purchased to print text on baseball bats for me. I am a small potatoes little shop and thought this would be challenging, but it doesn't even react to anything. The up and down buttons that move the tray are non functional. The motor just hums, but does nothing. On top of that, I cannot get it to connect to my computer. I have tried both version of the laser software that they have provided, one is supposedly made by them and the other is corel. Either way it has the same setup screen and I tell it that I have the B1 version and I also entered the device id from the white sticker, but I get nothing. The computer doesn't even react when I plug in the unit. I have the USB dongle and everything set up right, I just get nothing. Anyone have an advice or experience with this? I'd really appreciate it.

Did you load the USB drivers? does the machine home when you turn it on.

It was doing nothing because I didn't have the power transforming hooked up inline properly. It's all up and running! It's pretty easy to grasp. Thanks for the reply. I look forward to getting familiar with everyone on here!
