160v servo motor.
We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.
PlasmaCam is very protective about sourcing their servo motors. They are not normal motors. They run very high resistance, and normal servo motors will not work. PlasmaCam won't tell you anything about them, or where to buy them either.
You could measure the resistance of each phase and figure out the rest from there. I just don't know the math At The Moment. Also you could disassemble a bad motor to look at the windings.

Not knowing anything about electric motors, it is all Greek to me. I sure would be interested in finding a source for these motors outside of PlasmaCam though.
Hi Joe,
The motors mentioned in the second post are around $250.00 US.
How expensive are the replacement motors from PlasaCAM ?
Thanks,
Larry
